Our story

Since its foundation in 1948 by Carlo and Kyra Casagrande-Marsh, our family company has been a place where memories remain alive. They started in Lucerne with only 80 Swiss francs - today we are proud of several generations that share our passion for special watches, gifts and souvenirs.
1948
The start in Lucerne - a small business with a big vision. With CHF 80, Carlo and Kyra Casgrande-Marsh opened their first branch at Hertensteinstrasse 36 in Lucerne on April 11, 1948. The business with brass items imported from England quickly developed and so more and more souvenirs were added to the range.
1955
Expansion to St. Moritz - an exciting time with several branches that reflect the tourist flair of the Alpine town. For around 17 years
1958
Another milestone in history was the production of the first product brochure. Robert, the younger son of Carlo and Kyra already had an important role in the brochure.
1959
Carlo Casagrande designed the first Casiboy. Based on his designs, Mr. Fernand Suso, a Spanish woodworker, created this first collection of Casiboys. These iconic figures, fully handmade in Switzerland, are still the mascot of Casagrande and a popular photo subject in front of the souvenir and watch branches.
